So a few days ago I got to the magic 6300 IP barrier with Akali. The journey there was a hard one at first, but increasingly fun! Such a fun champion to play, and I recommend her to all of you if you havent tried her already!
And as one journey finishes another starts! Time for me to learn the next champion on the list, Alistar.
I've played about 10 games with him now and he is a hard one to get to grips with. I've played him as a tank mostly, with mediocre results. I've had alot of trouble timing his ultimate (75%less damage taken for 6ish sec) and mana have been an issue in almost every one of my games. Also, his abilities hit kinda hard, but not massivly as a tank, the big bonus from having him in the party for me have been how disruptive I can be to the other team in teambattles, knocking everyone up in the air, pushing melee away from my squishies. But inbetween cooldowns there arent so much to do, as you dont really build him for AD at all. Meaning Cooldown Reduction becomes a big factor.
So I walked around feeling not that great until the very latest game. We already had a tank, so I went full AP.
Hahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...........
Man, Alistar destroys as full AP.
More to come, when I've had more games =P
